Welcome to Assist. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Assist website, products, software, courses, and educational consultancy services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Agreement to Terms
By using our Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise indicated, the Services and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the site (collectively, the "Content") and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein are owned or controlled by Assist and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
- Consulting & Software: Codebases, configurations, and assets delivered during custom builds remain the intellectual property of Assist unless explicitly transferred via a signed written agreement.
- Educational Materials: Course videos, documents, quizzes, and digital assets are for personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not distribute, reproduce, or resell any course content.
3. User Accounts and Verification
When you register an account or request credentials (including academic certificates), you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Certificate Credential Ledger: Assist issues verified completion certificates. Bypassing, forging, or modifying verification IDs is strictly prohibited and will result in the immediate revocation of credentials and legal action.
4. Payment, Subscriptions, and Refunds
- Pricing: Fees for courses, consulting retainers, and enterprise software builds are detailed at the time of purchase or contract signing.
- Refund Policy: Academic courses carry a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase, provided less than 20% of the course content has been accessed. Fees for custom software development, design, and consultancy services are non-refundable once work has commenced.
- Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable local or international taxes associated with your purchases.
5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:
- Systematically retrieving data or content from the Services to create or compile a database or directory without written permission.
- Deciphering, decompiling, disassembling, or reverse-engineering any of the software comprising or in any way making up a part of the Services.
- Bypassing, disabling, or interfering with security-related features of the platform.
- Using the platform in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair our servers.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Assist and its directors, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of the Services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Assist is registered, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
8. Modifications to Services and Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
